Foscarini at 3daysofdesign 2026: twenty years of Twiggy and new visions of light

From June 10 to 12, Foscarini returns to Copenhagen for 3daysofdesign, set within the evocative spaces of Alice Folker Gallery (Esplanaden 14). An exhibition dedicated to light as an emotional and architectural presence — capable of shaping atmospheres, creating connections, and transforming the way we experience space.

Where to find us

At the center of the exhibition is Twiggy: the lamp designed by Marc Sadler in 2006 that, twenty years later, remains one of the most recognizable silhouettes in contemporary design. A project that reinterpreted the arc lamp archetype through structural lightness, graphic tension, and formal balance, while preserving its expressive strength over time.

Alongside Twiggy, Foscarini presents a selection of new pieces exploring different languages, materials, and interpretations of decorative lighting. These include the Allumette and Tilia chandeliers by Francesca Lanzavecchia, the Torche wall lamp by Dordoni Studio, new versions of Bahia and Aplomb by Lucidi Pevere, and two new evolutions of Gregg by Serafini + Palomba: the outdoor Gregg “sand,” designed to blend naturally into exterior settings through its warm, tactile finish, and the Poly Gregg pendant featuring new colored cords.

Different projects in form and research, united by a shared ambition: to make light a presence that shapes identity and atmosphere.

CONVERSATIONS WITH MARC SADLER

Rounding out the program are two public conversations with Marc Sadler, reflecting on the origins and evolution of Twiggy through themes of innovation, function, and expressive research in lighting design.

A DIALOGUE BETWEEN LIGHT AND FURNITURE

During 3daysofdesign 2026, Foscarini and Arper extend their presence across Copenhagen through a dialogue between their respective spaces. A selection of Arper furniture enters the Foscarini installation at Alice Folker Gallery, while Twiggy also becomes part of Arper’s presentation at The Residence.

A fluid exchange between light and furniture, between objects sharing the same vision of contemporary living.
