Intervallo
Born from the research project on light and ceramics called “Battiti”, Intervallo is a creation in which the light source is used as if it were a material. Positioned at the sides of a ceramic bas-relief, it constructs forms and volumes, reinterpreting in an original way a familiar icon from the European figurative tradition. A sculpture that becomes a wall lamp.
Foscarini, with Andrea Anastasio and Ceramica Gatti 1928, explores new interpretations of light, which takes on the character of a material in the dialogue with ceramics.

Intervallo
Intervallo comes to life within the framework of the experimental project on light and ceramics, “Battiti,” presented by Foscarini with Andrea Anastasio in 2022. A wall lamp with diffused light, it is made in handmade ceramic, set into an aluminum structure and mirror-polished stainless steel frame. The LED strips on the sides of the bas-relief portraying a Madonna and Child, are coated in silicone for enhanced light distribution. Intervallo comes in a single version glazed in a shiny berrettino colour, a traditional blue-grey hue typical of Faenza majolica. Plug-in dimmer light with transparent electrical cable.
