A wall lamp with a strong narrative and decorative impact even when turned off; when lit, it creates enticing environmental lighting. Fregio is a luminous sculpture made of glazed ceramic floral bas-reliefs and LEDs, combining a contemporary approach with age-old artisanal know-how.
Helen Musselwhite’s artistic universe is made of paper cutouts, folds, and shadows that narrate the wonder of the natural world. For What’s in a Lamp?, the artist reinterprets some of Foscarini’s lamps, transforming them into dreamlike paper landscapes.
Foscarini, with Andrea Anastasio and Ceramica Gatti 1928, explores new interpretations of light, which takes on the character of a material in the dialogue with ceramics.

Fregio
Wall lamp that combines the ancestral character of decorated ceramic with the technological and industrial aspects of LED light sources and metal support brackets. The distinctive design of the ceramic bas-relief obtained by the designer by selecting portions of historic molds from the Gatti ceramic arts workshop of Faenza and combining them in an original way. The ceramic panel is anchored to a central body in matte black coated steel, containing the LEDs. Opaline diffusers in the lower and upper part, ensuring excellent visual comfort, create a pleasant ambient lighting.
