https://www.foscarini.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/tonda_s_orange_22_786x865-1.jpg786865Pendant lamp for diffused lighting; Tonda is a luminous sculpture that is never precisely equal: the diffuser in opaline blown glass is crafted by hand, with transparent shading (shifting from white towards the top to transparent below). It is up to the master glass-blower to capture the exact combination and fusion of white and transparent to achieve the shaded effect. Each lamp is therefore unique, and the shade between the two colours of the glass varies slightly from one lamp to another, thereby lending the product a craft-based quality. The glass rests freely on the metal support, which is is out of alignment, and is composed of a steel rod, brushed and polished by hand before receiving a powdercoated finish.
