Mix&Match

Mix&Match

Foscarini's new system allows you to choose and combine diffusers,
functions and colours as you please

5 diffusers, 4 functions, 3 colors: with the Mix&Match system it is possible to produce lighting projects in an even more flexible and personal way. It starts with choosing the style of glass - between the Gem, Gregg and Rituals families, the function is identified according to the needs of the environment, and then specified in various colors according to taste and design style.

Lamps that already express their strong personality individually, can now be combined together to define and coordinate the lighting of diverse environments.

The space reinvents itself, thanks to Foscarini’s Mix&Match system.

The glass

In Foscarini’s collections, blown glass is always reinterpreted in a contemporary key, challenging the complexities of the thousand-year-old craft process and enhancing its expressive potential through skilful craftsmanship.

THE FUNCTION

The lamps in the Mix&Match system are perfect both as individual pieces, adding character to a room, and together in compositions, coordinating the entire atmosphere within a space. The option to select each model in four different functions allows for exceptional versatility and makes it possible to sculpt space through light.

THE COLOR

Color sets the tone and enriches the environment. Foscarini offers a palette of three colors, always in a matte finish, which impart a distinct taste to each lamp. You can choose between the soft tone of a warm and deep gold, the colder and sophisticated feeling of graphite, or even white, a more neutral choice that integrates easily into any environment. If there are multiple lamps in the room, you can play with tone on tone even varying the type of glass.

White

White, versatile and fresh, enhances light in its most spontaneous and primary dimension. Easily integrated, white allows glasses of various families, functions or dimensions to be combined, enhancing the diffusers through a discreet and unobtrusive color. Without imposing, it adapts to any type of furniture or wall color: tone on tone, or in contrast with bold saturated colors.

Graphite

A solid, concrete, material color. The combination of graphite with white glass conveys the elegance of Western classical style on one hand, while on the other hand, the opposing elements balance and complement each other, evoking the Eastern philosophy of dualism. In the table and floor versions, the contrast between dark base and light diffuser draws the eye upward, as the softly curved diffuser comes to illuminate and give presence to a clean, rigorous support.

Gold

Gold has always been a symbol of the sun and light. Traditionally associated with wealth and prestige, it never goes unnoticed and imparts character even within small details. In a different aspect, gold can present an irreverent and ironic character which may defuse an excessively monotonous or staid environment. And even a single light point can do it.

Foscarini's Mix&Match system expresses a sartorial lighting concept, developed to offer a more intimate moment of light.
